On 08/10/2024, during a combat mission near Donetsk region, a soldier sustained severe injuries from enemy sniper fire, resulting in a mine-explosive trauma.
The injuries include:
- Multiple gunshot shrapnel wounds to the face with soft tissue defect,
- Comminuted open fracture of the right lower jaw,
- Explosive shrapnel injury penetrating the tongue,
- Metallic foreign body embedded in the facial soft tissues;
- Avulsion of front teeth from both upper and lower jaws;
- Foreign body in the neck;
- Post-traumatic cephalgia (headache).
The reserved, sincere, and grateful 48-year-old Kharkiv native worked as a carpenter at a furniture factory before serving in the army.
Married. Father of a 16-year-old son.
He spent his free time with his family and fishing.
The man was mobilized to the army at the end of May 2024. As part of a separate mechanized brigade, he defended the Motherland in the Pokrovsky direction.

Need: Modeling and fabrication of an individualized patient-specific titanium implant with autograft (including mounting screws and 3D printing of an anatomical model).
Support the ongoing fundraising campaign to cover the expenses for:
- Facial reconstruction;
- Improvement of the patient’s condition;
- Enhancement of aesthetic appearance following the injuries sustained.
