Oleksandr Kisiliov, 1973.
On August 22, 2023, while performing combat missions in the Kherson direction, Oleksandr sustained a gunshot splinter injury to the soft tissues of the left submandibular area, resulting in damage to the submandibular salivary gland and the presence of foreign bodies. He underwent surgery and returned to the front but later suffered a concussion. He continued to fight.
Due to his injuries and the humidity in the blindage, he developed chronic purulent left-sided hemisinusitis with reactive swelling of the soft tissues of the left orbit. On July 31, 2024, an endoscopic endonasal left-sided sinusotomy was performed, which resulted in complications including necrosis of the orbital bones.
Diagnosis regarding the installation of implants:
- Fracture of the left orbit,
- Post-traumatic deformation.
Oleksandr was born and grew up in the Vinnytsia region, in the village of Turbiv. He graduated from Barsky Highway Technical School with a specialty in “Roadway Technician-Mechanic.” Since childhood, he has been interested in technology and mechanics, which is why he chose to study in this field.
For more than 10 years before the full-scale invasion, he worked at the Vinnytsia enterprise “Barlinek-Invest” as an operator of automatic and semi-automatic lines. On March 15, 2022, he went to the front as a volunteer. He is currently the commander of the department, Sergeant O.S. Kisilyov. Despite his diagnosis and pain, he continues to protect his homeland.
Given Alexander’s condition, the surgical intervention to install implants took place on October 1, 2024, before the fundraising was closed. Fundraising campaign is ongoing.
The task is to pay the bill for:
— modeling and manufacturing of an individualized patient-specific eyebrow plate from PEEK, including screws;
— modeling and manufacturing of an individualized patient-specific titanium orbital plate including screws.
The amount of UAH 40,000.00 was transferred by Oleksandr’s civilian employer, Barlinek-Invest. Thanks for helping the hero!
