Yuriy is a native of Lviv Oblast. Before the full-scale invasion, he worked as a senior cutter at a cardboard factory in Lviv. He has a wife, a 15-year-old son, and a large friendly family with whom, before the war, they liked to gather every Sunday and on holidays.
He was drafted into the army in May 2023. By August, he was already performing combat missions as a sapper in the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The man is convinced that it is his duty to finish the job so that the children do not have to fight the same enemy.
